May 2017:  A note from Tim to my clients, readers, and friends

As part of an ongoing desire to better balance work with the rest of living, I’ve made plans to take a few months off from shop work this summer.  I feel fortunate and happy to be in this position, and am looking forward to the change of pace and extended leave of absence, during which I’ll be sailing and boating, working on maintenance at home and shop, and so forth.

As a result, there will be a decline in new projects and posts for the next several months; you may have already noticed this, since I finished up my work list just a bit earlier than I’d intended (curse that efficiency).   Rest assured that  this is temporary and I’ll be back with a full slate of projects starting in the fall.

As always, I am available via email, Facebook, and phone/text.  Feel free to contact me anytime with your questions or to discuss your project with me.  I’m scheduling work for 2018 at this time.

It is important to me to post this in order to reassure you that I am still very much here, and  to stave off any worries about my or the shop’s well-being.   So thanks for watching, and thanks even more for your patience and understanding till I get back to work.

I love what I do, plan to be doing it for many years to come, and look forward to what’s coming to the shop this fall.
