Waanderlust Project--Phase III | Monday, August 22, 2011

After meeting with the owner on Sunday, I had answers to my questions and a clear direction for the remaining projects inside the boat, particularly the galley and head layout.  I spent the first part of the day on some planning and ordering the sheet goods and hardwood required to complete various jobs, then continued work on the ongoing brightwork pieces, sanding and revarnishing as required.  On many of the interior pieces, I applied satin varnish in what I hoped would be the final coat.

Later, I made preparations inside the boat to paint the main cabin bulkheads and other areas as needed, masking off the varnished wood trim, vacuuming, and solvent-washing the applicable surfaces.  I'd apply the primer in the morning.

Total Time Billed on This Job Today:  4.5 hours
