Over the weekend, I applied two additional coats of varnish to all areas, bringing the total to my desired number of six. Because the handrails were a day behind, I still needed at least one coat on those, which I'd do later in the day.
After removing the masking tape from around the toerails, I spent the day installing the stern and bow pulpits, most of the stanchions, and assorted other hardware, bringing the hardware installation nearly to completion with only a few things remaining to complete tomorrow.
Late in the day, I applied another coat of varnish to the handrails.
