With a router, I trimmed the overhanging boards around the bilge hatches and machinery room as needed, and also trimmed the bilge hatches.

Before getting started on the final section of the cabin sole, I installed a pair of vents in what was to become the main electrical locker beneath the nav table, these to promote airflow through the space.  I installed one beneath the door, and a second on the aft side near the top of the space.

Also in this area, I prepared a small section of plywood to fill in the cabin sole substrate just aft of the port settee, in an area that had originally been covered with part of the old engine stack assembly.  I epoxied the plywood to the hull to make this small space level with the sole behind it so I could lay the new surface right over the top.

Taking much of the remainder of the day, I finished up the final section of cabin sole, in the nook by the quarterberth and nav station.  I worked my way over from the starboard side and, with the usual rounds of cutting and fitting, eventually filled in the whole space with new material, securing the planks with epoxy, brads, hot glue, or weight as required.  I let the planks run long over the bilge openings for later trimming.
