I continued work on the cabin sole, starting with the final two strips on the starboard side, adjacent to the hanging locker in the passageway.  I scribed the two pieces to fit as required and installed them in epoxy, weighting the boards as needed while the adhesive cured.

I installed two short boards alongside the machinery room, covering the new extension I added earlier, then fitted a longer piece along the port side of the bilge hatch opening, leaving a bit of material overhanging the openings for later trimming in place.

From there, it was refreshingly quick by comparison to cover the large remaining area of the field over to the port settee.  I'd trim the overhanging ends and other areas once the adhesive cured.

Before removing the long bilge hatches, I'd made reference marks from the adjacent cabin sole areas so I could line up the plank seams accordingly.  Down on the bench, I cut and installed the new sole over the existing hatches, allowing the planks to run long and wide for later trimming.
