No surprises on this day:  just more sanding.  I continued with more of the hull paint removal and sanding, working my way around the port bow and down the starboard side, leaving twelve feet or so to finish up.  The paint removal process wasn't getting any easier, but it was getting done, if slowly.


    


With the all-consuming need for new staging in order to continue the hull sanding, in the morning I took delivery of a load of lumber to build the new system.  I'd be taking a day or two to take care of this early next week.  My old staging, in service for over 8 years, had been ready for replacement a year or two ago, but I kept stretching its lifespan.  No more.
