To finalize the shape of the small plywood filler piece between the berths in the forward cabin, I needed to mill a piece of solid cherry to close off the point of the "V" at the forward end, which area was still conspicuously visible between the new cherry panels on each side. The trim piece was straightforward, with angled sides as needed to match the angle of the "V", and a flat face.  I used the new trim to cut off the forward end of the filler plywood as needed to clear the trim, then installed the trim with glue and screws, with bungs over the screws.

At the after end of the area, I milled a section of trim to form a fiddle to hold the seat area in place and finish off the area, and secured it with glue and screws, bunging the screw holes.

The top edges of the berths required trim to cover the plywood end grain, and to enhance the appearance.  To this end, I milled sections of trim that would slip over the exposed edge, and cut the ends to match the angles of the berth at the after and forward ends.  I secured the new trim with glue.

To finish off the forward end of the trim, I milled a triangular piece of solid cherry similar to the original trim, and secured it with glue.

I milled several sections of small quarter round molding, and measured and cut two sections to trim out the inside corners at the after ends of the berths against the bulkhead.
