Entering the final rounds of finish sanding on deck, I spent the day sanding all deck areas with a vibrating finishing sander, ending at 120 grit as specified for the high-build primer.  These rounds of sanding smoothed the application of fine fairing compound applied last time, and also refined sanding marks from earlier rounds.

The bulk of the filling and sanding on deck was complete, but there'd be some spot-fairing and other work in specific areas in the days ahead, notably wrapping up various work in the cockpit and on the reshaped coaming blocks.
