Ms Lynne G | Thursday, August 21, 2014

Under past ownership, I'd done some small projects on this boat earlier in the year.  Various circumstances led that owner to put the boat on the market, and in a happenstance situation late in the summer, I connected him with a new customer who was looking for a small daysailer in need of various upgrades.  Fate smiled upon the land.

With the enthusiastic new owners at the helm, a refined work list, and, fortuitously, an open spot in the shop (at least for a time...this project was likely to take place over two separate phases to accommodate previous project/shop commitments), I got ready to begin the project ahead by removing the mast from its deck storage position and moving the boat in to the shop, where I'd presently begin work that would include hull and deck refinishing, new woodwork, and sundry additional tasks.
