The paint on the after deck had had enough cure time, so first thing I reinstalled all the hardware there,  using new fasteners, backing plates, and large washers as needed.

Late in the day, to prevent the fumes from bothering me elsewhere in the shop, I applied a coat of epoxy-based primer to the coachroof, a sort of conversion or tie coat which would allow me to continue the painting process without concerns about the one-part nonskid paint curing over the new epoxy.
