I spent the day laying out and taping off the eventual nonskid areas so as to define the areas requiring the gloss paint.  I laid out 1-1/2" borders in most areas, following the contours of the cabin trunk, toerail, and cockpit areas as required.

Afterwards, I installed paper in the field areas to protect them from overspray, and then installed plastic sheeting over the hull from the hull-deck joint down to protect it as well.  I wrapped up the long day by preparing the paint materials and equipment for work the next day.
