I began the day by tacking off the deck areas to be painted, and then applied three coats of Alexseal snow white to the deck areas as needed.  The configuration of the deck required a three-stage approach to the paint to avoid marring newly-painted surfaces:  first the forward hatch and companionway surrounds, as well as the cockpit well, none of which I could reach from the staging and had to spray from the sidedecks; next, the cabin trunk and cockpit coamings; and finally, the toerails and waterways.  I finished up about 1300 and left the paint to cure overnight.
