1975 Dufour 27 Refit | Thursday, October 30, 2008

With only a half-day at my disposal today, I worked to complete the sanding and begin the cleanup and final preparations required before finish primer, planned for Monday.

With 220 grit paper, I sanded yesterday's application of fine filler on areas of the deck and locker lids as required.  Then, I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning up the boat and shop--vacuuming dust, wiping down, and washing as needed.  With the worst of the dust settled and removed, I could concentrate tomorrow on the final preparations needed for the finish primer.
