1975 Dufour 27 Refit | Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Today, I completed sanding the primer on the remainder of the deck areas, including the loose anchor hatch, cockpit hatches, sea hood, and companionway sliding hatch.  As before, I sanded all areas by machine and by hand using 220 grit paper until the primed surfaces were smooth.

Afterwards, I vacuumed up the dust, solvent-washed, and then used Alexseal fairing filler to go around and fill any existing pinholes, air holes, or other issues that had come to light thanks to the high-build primer.
