1975 Dufour 27 Refit | Tuesday, November 4, 2008

I spent the day sanding the deck areas with 320 grit paper.  Beginning in the cockpit, then working my way through the coachroof and finally the sidedecks and other areas, I hand-sanded all areas, concentrating on the smooth areas that would be overcoated with Alexseal topcoat, although I sanded the eventual nonskid areas as well.

With the sanding complete, I vacuumed and blew down the boat and shop as necessary, and then solvent-washed the decks to prepare for masking and other final preparations.
