I began by tacking off both hull and deck areas, then mixed paint and began applying three coats of Alexseal epoxy high-build primer to the deck areas, starting with the coachroof and cockpit well, which I needed to spray from the deck itself.

With three coats on these areas, I removed the protective paper that I'd installed on portions of the deck and applied three coats of the primer to all remaining deck areas--foredeck, sidedecks, cabin trunk, and the remainder of the cockpit.

Afterwards, with three coats on the entire deck, I moved the staging and applied three coats of primer to the hull.
