I spent the first part of the day masking off for the nonskid paint application, now that the new Alexseal had had adequate cure time for overtaping.  Once the masking was complete, I made final preparations--cleaning, etc.--for the application of the nonskid paint.

    
         

         


Next, I applied the first of two coats of one-part nonskid paint, color white.

         

         

         



Finally, I applied a 6th coat of varnish to one side of the coamings.  I'd let that cure for a couple days before turning the coamings over for the 6th coat on the opposite side, which would be the final coat before installation.
