Once again, I began by sanding the fairing compound that I applied yesterday, using finer sandpaper than on previous days since the faired areas were approaching their final state.

After cleaning up and evaluating where things stood, I applied a coat of finely-textured Alexseal fairing compound as needed to several of the largest patches; the smaller repairs over boltholes and hardware locations were already smooth and fair.

I'd intended during the afternoon to move into the interior and complete some additional preparatory work in the saloon and elsewhere, but instead found myself blinking unexpectedly in the dentist's chair to repair a problem for which I'd scheduled myself in a week, but which suddenly could wait no longer for attention.
