Continuing with the final stages of deck preparation, I spent the bulk of the day on sanding duty, this time with 320 grit by machine and hand as needed to smooth the new primer and prepare it for the next painting steps. I sanded the entire deck, and the loose locker lids and hatches, then vacuumed and solvent washed to prepare the decks for the next round of masking required before topcoats.
